The Max Radiance Academy of design is a design institute in Jaipur, India. The institute functions as an autonomous body under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, government of India.
NID or the National Institute of Design offers professional education programs at Bachelors and Masters Level. It offers 5 faculty streams and 20 diverse design domains. NID has been active as an autonomous institute under the department of industrial policy and promotion, ministry of Commerce & industries, In Education, applied research, service and advanced training in 5 faculty streams; namely, Industrial Design, Communication Design, Textile, Apparel & Lifestyle Design. IT Integrated Design and Interdisciplinary Design Studios.

The DAT teststhe student’s ability in Design, Problem Solving, Visual Sense, Observation & Perception, Environmental Awareness, Mental Ability and Communication skills through a range of visual and textual questions.
1: DAT PRELIMS: Examination for 3 hrs is marked out of 100 points with no negative marking
Part I: MCQs marked out of 70 points with one or more than one correct answer recorded on an OMR sheet and is evaluated digitally
Part II: Subjective questions marked out of 30 points, with responses to be provided in visual and/or written format
For PG Level:
Part 1: Common Foundation Paper – 40 marks – 1.5 hours
Part 2: Specialization Paper – 60 marks – 1.5 hours
2: DAT MAINS:Based on the scores obtained in the DAT Prelims, eligible candidates will appear for the DAT Mains. It consists of two parts:
Part I: Studio Test: Consist of tests in different formats such as drawing/sketching, hands-on model making, group discussions etc. This test will be marked out of 100 points and will be conducted in English.The Studio test generally has 3 parts- doodling, 3D modeling and observation tests. The studio Tests at PG level are specific to each design specialization.
Part II: Interview: The interview and Portfolio review is conducted separately for all disciplines, immediately after the Studio Test

Max radiance offers you merit based scholarship for our classroom programs. Scholarship ranges from 10% to 50 % fee waiver, based on the eligibility of the student.
